Few things can match the thrill of seeing your first book on the shelf. The day MEMORY RELOAD was scheduled to release, I called the Block E Borders to see if the books were up yet. They were, so I dragged a co-worker along to snap this picture. The store staff was great - they even moved my books to the top slot which made for a much better picture than if I'd been sitting on the floor!

Not only did they show up, they bought the book!

The Minnesota Timberwolves sponsored a day for literacy during one of their home games. My chapter, Midwest Fiction Writers, had a booth. Here I am with Jade Taylor and Pamela Bauer during our stint in the booth. I think we may have won over a few new readers amongst all the basketball fans.

I joined Susan Kay Law and Shelly Thacker at a booksigning at A Novel Place for their grand re-opening. It was a fun afternoon and my friends and family made a good showing, once again.
